ROI of Coaching

Estimate for return on investment (ROI) of Executive Coaching

We use our in-house coaching evaluation tool, Talent ROI, to estimate the return on investment of our executive coaching and team coaching engagements.

Coaching Evaluation

Based on our collective knowledge of and experience in delivering coaching, we use a coaching evaluation assessment tool to help you measure the return on investment (ROI) of coaching. The Talent ROI allows you to understand and capture the benefits and estimate the effectiveness of a coaching intervention or the impact of an organization-wide culture transformation program. It is often said in the business world that “if you can’t measure something, you can’t manage it”. Conducting business assessments and index measurements in parallel with the coaching process is an excellent way to understand and improve leadership and team development.

Methodology[/h4Our methodology for measuring executive coaching ROI builds on widely accepted tools such as Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels, which examines participant reactions, learning, behavioral change and, most importantly, business impact. Our coaching evaluation model begins with the identification of the client’s strategic objectives for the coaching program, such as enhanced organizational responsiveness, strategic alignment or innovative contributions. Particularly in team coaching, we draw on established knowledge in the field of industrial psychology when working with the client in order to identify the ‘chain’ that links the behaviors of the coach to the attitudes and behaviors of his or her direct reports. This chain connects the actions of the coach manager to the creation of value for the organization, through the empowered, committed and energized contributions of the coach manager’s direct reports. Using the most up-to-date approaches for estimating the monetary value of a broad range of employee behaviors and organizational outcomes, we connect the investment made in the developing coaching skills to value creation in the organization. We work here with organizational development tools from Team Coaching International.
